It's a Tuesday. You've known since about seven this morning what you need to do. It's not a big thing. A form, or an email, or the kitchen. You've thought about it, on and off, for four hours. You've thought about it in some detail. At one point you made a small internal speech about how this time would be different.
You have not stood up.
If you've picked up this book, you've probably had that Tuesday, and you've probably also had the book you bought about it. Most ADHD books are good. Most of them are also written for the version of you who feels capable: the one who can sit down, read a chapter, absorb a system and put it into practice. That version of you exists. She's just not the one who needs the book. The one who needs it is on the couch at eleven in the morning, and she can't read a chapter, because reading a chapter is a task, and tasks are the problem.
This book is built for her.
From the Introduction: Built for the day you can’t
The books and printables offer strategies and tools. They are not medical advice or treatment.
